CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — An inmate at the Ross County Jail is in more hot water after allegedly making threats to rape female deputies, fight jail staff, and kill a local judge.
According to the Ross County Sheriff’s Office, on February 19, an investigator was reviewing jail incident reports when it was discovered that a threats report was made by jail staff. The deputy in their report stated that they were working in the booking area of the jail when the inmate first offered to pay the female deputy if she performed a sexual act on him. The inmate then continued by making threats to sexually assault other female staff within the facility. It was during this conversation the inmate then threatened to “snap the judge’s neck if they sentence him to rehab.”
The inmate’s name was redacted by the Ross County Sheriff’s Office when they provided the report to The Guardian. The incident, officials said, was submitted to the courts for possible additional charges.
