Annual Salamander spotting event at Buzzards Roots Nature Preserve

ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — As the rain showers and warmer temperatures herald the arrival of spring, nature enthusiasts are gearing up for the annual salamander spotting event at Buzzards Roots Nature Preserve in Chillicothe, Ohio.

Scheduled for Monday, March 4th from 8-9 p.m., the event promises an exciting opportunity to witness the emergence of various amphibian species, including salamanders, newts, peepers, and wood frogs.
