CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A body found Saturday morning in a park is under investigation.
It happened just before noon at the Yoctangee Park Annex in Chillicothe. First responders were called to the scene after the human remains were found “somewhat into the tree-line.”
Medics responded but the case was immediately handed over to law enforcement and the county coroner’s office after it was apparent the body was deceased.
The identity of the person, how they died, or the events leading up to the body being found have not been released.
The police department said they don’t suspect foul play.
The finding comes after a human jawbone was found near the same location.
