HILLSBORO, Ohio — A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the grand opening of the Hillsboro Business Complex today. This project aims to be a cornerstone of economic development in Hillsboro’s uptown area, specifically for small businesses.

Over $1 million was invested to revitalize three historic buildings. Now, the complex offers a mix of amenities, including renovated office space and brand new co-working areas.

Governor Mike DeWine of Ohio joined local dignitaries and stakeholders at the opening. He expressed his belief that the Hillsboro Business Complex will be transformative for the community.

The collaborative spirit behind the project was highlighted during the celebration. Local business owners, community leaders, and state representatives all came together to make this project a reality. JobsOhio President J.P. Nauseef is confident this new center of activity will attract more business and tourism to the area.

The Hillsboro Business Complex is more than 7,000 square feet and houses various organizations, including the Chamber of Commerce and a co-working space called “The Hive.” Dale Martin, the owner of the complex, is grateful for the support from JobsOhio and others. He hopes this project will be a catalyst for even more growth in Hillsboro.

Looking ahead, the Hillsboro Business Complex is expected to be a hub for entrepreneurs and collaborative work. Mayor Justin Harsha expressed his gratitude to developers like Dale Martin for their vision in revitalizing the city. The project received a significant grant from JobsOhio’s Vibrant Communities program, which supports development in distressed communities.
