CHILLICOTHE, Ohio – The Patricia Scott Art Gallery at Ohio University Chillicothe is set to host a diverse art exhibition featuring works from its students, alumni, faculty, and staff. The exhibition will kick off with an opening reception at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 4.
Those interested in showcasing their artistic talents are invited to submit their artwork. The deadline for artist applications is March 18, and the artwork must be delivered by March 21. Submissions can be made at the dean’s suite, located on the first floor of Bennett Hall, from Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Roberta Milliken, the Dean of Campus and Community Relations, expressed her excitement about the event, emphasizing the significant role of art in our lives and the opportunity this exhibition presents to highlight the creativity within their campus and community.
The exhibition aims to bring together art lovers and the wider community to appreciate the collective creativity that arises when individual inspirations come together. The displayed artworks will celebrate artistic diversity, stimulate conversations, and promote a deeper understanding of the broad range of human creativity.
The exhibition will run until Thursday, May 16, 2024. The Patricia Scott Art Gallery, situated on the first floor of Bennett Hall, welcomes visitors from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
