Shake the winter blues at the Ross Co. Park District’s Spring Equinox Celebration

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Ross County Park District announced their Spring Equinox Celebration. 

According to Community Outreach Coordinator Macey Power, the event will offer a variety of family friendly activities. It will all take place Saturday, March 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Buzzard’s Roost located at 514 Red Bird Lane.

10:00 A.M. Yoga with Codee 

11:00 A.M. 
-Guided Walk with Ranger Bost -or- 
-Kid-Friendly Hike of the KNZ Trail with Ms. Myranda 

12:00 P.M. 
-Kid’s Spring Scavenger Hunt with Ash the Fox, The Mighty Children’s Museum, and one of Ash’s VERY special friends! 

1:00 P.M. 
-Two family-friendly hands-on Workshops 
1. Ohio Rocks – Geology, fossils, and more with RCPD’s own Ted Hagarman -or- 
2. Seed Starting – with Kim Baker owner of KB Flowers 

The celebration is sure to shake away the winter blues!
