VINTON COUNTY, Ohio — A series of culvert replacement projects are set to impact traffic on State Route 278 in Vinton County, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT). The work is weather permitting and will result in road closures at various locations from March 13 to April 12.
From March 13-15, between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., SR 278 will be closed from Wheelabout Road to U.S. 50. The closure will continue from March 18-20, from Long Ridge Road to Township Road F-14, and from March 20-22, from Cabin Ridge Road to Park Road #9, during the same hours.
The most extensive work will take place from March 25 to April 12, when multiple culverts will be replaced on SR 278 between Irish Ridge Road and Two Mile Road. The road will be closed where work is taking place, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
