CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Tuesday, March 26th saw Chillicothe Police Officers respond to a variety of calls for service. Here’s a summary of some of those incidents:

  • Disorderly Conduct: Officers responded to two separate reports of disorderly conduct:
    • E Main St. at 1:32 AM.
    • 38 S Brownell St. at 3:24 AM.
  • Theft: A theft from a motor vehicle was reported on E 4th St. at 6:53 AM. Investigation continues.
  • Traffic Violations:
    • Expired registration citation issued on 110 Maple Ave. at 7:30 AM.
    • Citation issued for driving in marked lanes at 8:36 AM (location not specified).
    • Extended parking citation issued on March 25th, with follow-up on March 26th (location not specified).
  • Accidents:
    • A crash with injuries was reported near the intersection of Woodbridge and Arch St. at 8:46 AM.
    • Officers responded to a separate motor vehicle crash on W. Main St. near Walnut St. at 5:51 PM. Investigation continues.
  • Thefts:
    • Theft investigation ongoing at Rural King on N Bridge St. reported at 9:58 AM.
    • Theft investigation ongoing at a store on River Trace Ln. on March 26th (time not specified).
  • Criminal Trespass: An officer responded to a call regarding criminal trespass on Allen Ave. at 10:03 AM.
  • Non-Criminal:
    • Officers were dispatched to Pilot on E Main St. in reference to a vicious dog complaint at 10:16 AM. Investigation pending.
    • Officers were dispatched to Wal-Mart on River Trace Ln. for drug disposal at 7:15 PM.
  • DUIs: Officers conducted traffic stops that resulted in arrests for driving under the influence:
    • S Paint St. at 1:50 PM.
    • N High St. at 3:04 PM.
  • Warrant: A traffic stop led to the arrest of an individual with a warrant from Waverly PD on N High St. at 7:04 PM.
  • Attempted Suicide: Officers responded to a report of a possible suicide attempt on E Main St. at 7:06 PM.
  • Assault: An assault was reported at Five N Below on N Bridge St. at 7:49 PM.
  • Domestic Violence: Officers responded to a domestic violence incident on Lille St. at 10:40 PM.
  • Animal Complaint: A call regarding a dog at large was received on S Sugar St. at 9:19 PM.
