LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ohio — The National Weather Service (NWS) is investigating reports of a possible tornado that caused extensive damage to an RV Park near Hanging Rock in Lawrence County.
Local resident Mindy Broughton captured the aftermath of the storm in a Facebook Live video, which showed significant damage. Many campers were either tossed by the storm or completely destroyed.

This storm was part of a line of severe weather that moved across the Scioto Valley earlier this morning. As of yet, The Guardian has not been able to confirm any injuries related to the incident.
The storm is part of a larger weather system expected to bring widespread severe weather across the region this afternoon and evening. The NWS warns of the possibility of additional significant tornadoes.
