COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio Governor Mike DeWine is set to tour areas of southern Ohio that were affected by severe storms earlier this week, according to a spokesperson from his office.
The Governor will visit parts of Adams and Lawrence counties to assess the damage and interact with residents who are in the process of cleaning up after tornadoes touched down. The tornadoes were part of a powerful storm system that swept through the Buckeye State.
The first stop on Governor DeWine’s tour will be at the Fairland West Elementary School, in Proctorville and Alexander Salamon Airport, in Winchester.
The tour is part of the state’s ongoing efforts to provide support and aid to those affected by the recent storms.
