CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — A single-vehicle rollover crash claimed the life of a Circleville man on April 20, 2024. The Pickaway County Communications Center received a 911 call at 8:57 A.M. about the incident in the area of Route 361 and Kingston Pike.
Upon arrival, deputies from the Sheriff’s Office found a 2005 white Chevrolet on its side. The driver, identified as 69-year-old Michael G. Dille, had been ejected from the vehicle.
The investigation revealed that Dille was traveling southbound on Kingston Pike and failed to negotiate the right-hand curve upon approach to Route 361. His vehicle went off the south side of Kingston Pike, causing it to overturn and come to rest on all four wheels in the grassy area between Kingston Pike and State Route 361.
Dille was airlifted to Adena Regional Medical Center by Med-Flight. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
