ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — Local officials in Bainbridge have issued an update regarding the ongoing efforts to repair potholes and sunken areas on the village’s roads. According to a spokesperson, the initial plan was to begin filling in these road imperfections at the start of this week. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the asphalt plant is currently not producing hot mix, delaying the repair process.
In a statement posted on the village’s water department social media page, the spokesperson explained, “We had hoped to start addressing the potholes and sunken areas promptly, but unfortunately, the asphalt plant is experiencing production issues. We have been advised to check back on Thursday or Friday for an update. Additionally, we need to read meters this week so that they can be mailed out on schedule.”
The village remains optimistic and is aiming to commence the road repairs either on Friday or early next week.
