CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Chillicothe Police Department is investigating a possible sexual assault that allegedly occurred at a dental office. The identity of the dental office could not be confirmed by the Guardian due to redactions made by the Chillicothe Police Department in the report. However, the report does mention the incident location as North Walnut Street.

According to the police, on April 22, a nurse at the Ohio State University Medical Center contacted police regarding the alleged incident. The nurse reported that a woman came into the hospital seeking medical attention and claimed she had been sexually assaulted during a wisdom teeth removal procedure on March 28, 2024.
The victim alleged that the dental surgeon made inappropriate sexual remarks prior to the procedure. She also stated that her husband was asked to leave the waiting area during the surgery, which she found unusual. The victim reported soreness in her jaw, neck, shoulders, pelvic area, and buttocks following the procedure, along with visible bruising.
A CT scan later revealed that the victim had suffered a fractured facial bone.
The victim told the nurse that she has contacted an attorney but had not yet filed a police report. Police attempted to contact the victim but her phone number was disconnected.
The Chillicothe Police Department is investigating this incident. No further information is available at this time.
