CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Chillicothe Police Department responded to the following calls for service on April 23, 2024:

• 12:30 a.m. – Traffic Stop/Citations: Officers initiated a traffic stop on South Bridge Street near East 5th Street. Citations were issued for failure to file annual vehicle registration, driving under suspension (FRA & Random Verification).
• 12:50 a.m. – Traffic Stop/Citation: Traffic stop initiated in the Speedway parking lot at 10 North Bridge Street. Citation issued for driving under suspension (FRA & Random Verification).
• 1:04 a.m. – Drug Possession: Officer located a male bicyclist without a headlight on South Mulberry Street. Possession of drug abuse instruments suspected.
• 4:27 a.m. – Unruly Juvenile: Police responded to 209 Scioto Avenue concerning a runaway juvenile, who was then entered as missing into the NCIC system. Investigation ongoing.
• 4:46 a.m. – Traffic Stop/Citation: Traffic stop performed on East Main Street, citation issued for driving under suspension (FRA & Random Verification).
• 10:40 a.m. – Traffic Stop/Citation: Traffic stop conducted on East 2nd Street for an observed stop sign violation. Citation issued.
• 10:42 a.m. – Trespassing: Police responded to a trespassing complaint on Laurel Street. Investigation ongoing.
• 11:26 a.m. – Identity Theft: Officers responded to an identity theft report on Columbus Street.
• 11:50 a.m. – Children’s Services Assist/Drug Possession: Police assisted Children’s Services on Willow Lane. Suspected possession of drug abuse instruments, investigation ongoing.
• 11:57 a.m. – Search Warrant/Stolen Property: Police served a search warrant on West Lillie Street in connection with suspected stolen property and evidence tampering.
