CHILLICOTHE, Ohio – A Chillicothe woman was arrested on Wednesday for drug possession and related offenses following a traffic stop.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at a Family Dollar store. Upon arrival, they found Dixie Lutz exhibiting signs consistent with drug use. A search of her person revealed a syringe and a glass pipe, which Lutz admitted using for drug consumption.
A subsequent search of Lutz’s vehicle yielded suspected crack cocaine, an unknown white powder, a bag of Gabapentin pills, numerous items of drug paraphernalia, and multiple credit/debit cards belonging to other individuals.
Lutz was placed under arrest and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instruments. She was transported to the Ross County Jail. Some of the seized substances will be sent to a crime lab for analysis.
