JACKSON COUNTY, Ohio — Herr Foods, Inc., a well-known snack food company, has partnered with JobsOhio, Ohio Southeast Economic Development (OhioSE), and local economic development organizations to announce a significant investment of $31 million in the region. This move will reportedly create 125 new jobs across Jackson and Chillicothe.

The investment plan includes the acquisition of the Jackson Industrial Rail Site, with $25 million allocated for developing the Jackson facility (resulting in 75 new jobs) and an additional $6 million to enhance operations at the Chillicothe facility (creating 50 new jobs).

Jackson County, already home to major food industry players, welcomes Herr Foods as a valuable addition to the local economy.
