CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A Chillicothe man, held on a $1 million bond, is set to return to court today for a pretrial conference. Jason Lytle, who was charged with attempted murder last summer, is once again in the spotlight.
Lytle was initially charged after he allegedly used his vehicle to pin a man against the exterior wall of a local business. The incident resulted in serious injuries to the victim.
On Monday, April 15, 2024, Lytle found himself back in custody, this time facing new charges. The Guardian reported that Lytle was arrested on charges of domestic violence, resisting arrest, and robbery.
In response to those new charges, Ross County Court of Common Pleas Judge Michael Ater set Lytle’s bond at $1 million, payable in cash or surety.
Jason Lytle’s trial is slated to begin tomorrow on his attempted murder charges.
