SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio — A joint operation in Scioto County has led to the discovery of a large cache of firearms and suspected narcotics, according to a statement from Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman.

On June 4, the Southern Ohio Organized and Major Crimes Task Force was contacted by U.S. Marshals regarding illegal drugs allegedly found at a residence where they were serving an arrest warrant.

A subsequent search of the residence reportedly uncovered methamphetamine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, and 17 firearms.

Randi Davis, 35, was arrested at the scene. Davis was taken into custody on two bench warrants, one for having weapons under disability and another for trafficking in drugs.

Authorities have stated that the case will be submitted to the prosecutor’s office for further action.
