ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A high-speed chase ensued over the weekend when a motorcyclist evaded Ross County deputies after a failed traffic stop attempt.
The incident began in the vicinity of Massieville Road and Route 23, where deputies spotted a Suzuki motorcycle heading northbound without a license plate. When authorities attempted to pull over the rider, the motorcyclist accelerated, initiating the pursuit.
Officials reported that the motorcycle’s speed exceeded 100 MPH as the chase continued along Route 23 and onto Three Locks Road. However, deputies called off the pursuit near Stoney Creek Road as the biker continued to elude capture.
The suspect is described as a white male, aged between 25 to 34, with sandy brown hair and a beard.
