MASON, Ohio — A man who was hit by a roller coaster at Kings Island has died, officials said.
Artenayro Nelson, 38, of Wilmington, died on Friday at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Nelson had reportedly entered a restricted area looking for his keys around the Banshee roller coaster when he was struck by the ride at nearly 70 mph.
The incident, authorities say, remains under investigation.
