MIDDLEPORT, Ohio – On Tuesday, June 25th, Deputies from the Meigs County Sheriff’s Office and Agents from the Southeast Major Crimes Task Force executed a search warrant in the Village of Middleport after a six-month narcotics investigation. This investigation focused on ongoing drug trafficking at 231 Mill Street in Middleport.
When authorities entered the residence, several individuals fled from the living room area. Mathew McFann and Anna Windle, who attempted to escape, were quickly apprehended and detained. Inside the house, Kevin Harris and Felicia Hopkins were found hiding and were also taken into custody.
During the search, Agents discovered large quantities of Methamphetamine and Fentanyl, along with numerous items indicating drug trafficking activities. All evidence was seized.
The individuals taken into custody and held at the Middleport Jail are:
- Mathew McFann of Patriot, OH: Charged with multiple counts of Trafficking in Drugs and Possession of Drugs.
- Anna Windle of Pomeroy, OH: Charged with multiple counts of Trafficking in Drugs and Possession of Drugs.
- Kevin Harris of Middleport, OH: Charged with Possession of Drugs and Permitting Drug Abuse.
- Felicia Hopkins of Middleport, OH: Detained for outstanding warrants through Meigs County Court.
All four individuals face pending indictments through Meigs County Common Pleas Court following a review by the Meigs County Prosecutor’s Office.
