CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Zane Trace Schools in Ross County, is investigating after inappropriate emails were reportedly sent to staff and student email accounts, according to a report filed by the Ross County Sheriff’s Office.
The report details two emails received on June 27th. The first email, sent at 3:00 am on June 25th, contained sexually suggestive content and mentioned a specific student by name. A second email arrived at 10:25 pm on June 25th, apologizing for any inconvenience and claiming the prior message was unintentional.
Both emails, deputies said, originated from outside the Zane Trace Schools email system.
A second student also reported receiving a similar email with a photo attached.
The case has been forwarded to supervisors for further investigation.
No arrests have been made at this time.
