CHILLICOTHE, Ohio – In a coordinated effort with the US Marshals, local law enforcement officials were dispatched to Sugar Tree and Three Locks Rd. to assist in the transportation of several arrestees to the Ross County Jail.
Deputies reported that upon arrival at the scene, Cruz Lowery was taken into custody and transported in a marked patrol car. Lowery faces charges including four counts of contempt through juvenile court, theft, and aggravated robbery.
During the same operation at the jail, Tracy Tackett arrived and was served with an indictment for aggravated robbery, in which Cruz Lowery was named as a co-defendant.
Additionally, Megan Shoemaker was served with indictments for two counts of aggravated possession of drugs and aggravated trafficking in drugs. Shoemaker was also issued a notice of disability, with a signed copy returned to records.
This collaborative effort highlights the ongoing cooperation between local authorities and federal agencies to ensure the enforcement of the law and the safety of the community.
US Marshals also arrested Caleb Johnson for aggravated murder in Columbus after finding him during a raid on Chillicothe’s eastside.
