JACKSON, Ohio – Jackson County is among localities still experiencing disruptions following a recent global IT outage. The outage, which impacted numerous government agencies across the country last week, has caused ongoing issues for several county departments.
Earlier today, Jackson County officials echoed reports from Fayette County, where the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) and Title Department continue to face complications. Similar limitations are present in Jackson County’s Clerk of Courts office, which remains open despite restricted computer access.
Residents seeking auto titles, registrations, IDs, licenses, or permits are currently unable to complete transactions.
