NEW YORK, New York — Verizon customers across the country are reporting widespread issues with their cellular devices, leaving many unable to make phone calls. According to Verizon’s website, the disruptions began around 9 AM this morning, with customers quickly flooding online forums and support lines to report the outage.
As of now, Verizon has not issued any official statement on the cause of the outage or provided a timeline for when service might be restored. The disruption comes months after a similar incident with AT&T, which left millions of Americans unable to use their phones, stuck in SOS mode.
