CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — On October 2, 2024, Ross County deputies responded to various incidents, including multiple warrant arrests, a breaking and entering case, and an assault at Adena Hospital. Additionally, non-criminal matters such as a property dispute and suicide threats were also addressed.

    Deputies Rush, Obomswain, and Weaver went to Oak Lane in Ross County to execute an arrest warrant on a female subject. Arrest made.
  • 2:34 AM – Harris Station Rd, ChillicotheObstructing Official Business; Warrant
    Deputies Rush and Obomswain attempted to serve a warrant. Arrest made.
  • 3:46 AM – Crystal Dr, Kingston
    Deputies were dispatched to Adena Hospital regarding a possible self-inflicted gunshot wound that occurred in the Kingston area. An investigation is ongoing.

    Deputies responded to a report of a horse running loose. A verbal warning was issued, and the Humane Society gave a written warning for medical treatment of the horse.

    Marian Brown reported that her adult daughter, Cheyenne Ford, was refusing to leave her residence and had been fighting with her 16-year-old brother.

    Deputies were dispatched to Kingston Bank for a counterfeit bill report. An investigation was initiated.
  • 3:25 PM – Hospital Rd, ChillicotheAssault; Strangulation
    Deputies responded to Adena Hospital where a female assaulted medical staff. The staff’s injuries were consistent with the statements, and an arrest was made.
