FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Ohio — The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a custodian from Toll Gate Elementary School on charges of voyeurism after he allegedly hid a cell phone in a staff bathroom with the intent to record employees.
Edward Dorst, 63, of Baltimore, Ohio, was taken into custody following an investigation by deputies and detectives who responded to the school after the phone was discovered. According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, Dorst, an employee of the school, is accused of placing the phone in a location meant to capture recordings of staff members without their knowledge.
Dorst faces multiple counts of voyeurism as a result of the investigation. The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office has not released further details on how the phone was discovered or how long it may have been in place.
