CHILLICOTHE, Ohio – The Chillicothe Paints have officially revealed their 2025 game schedule, marking the team’s 32nd season in the Prospect League. The Paints will kick off the season on the road against the Johnstown Mill Rats on Tuesday, May 27, before returning to VA Memorial Stadium for their home opener on Thursday, May 29, at 7:05 p.m.
The highly anticipated home opener will feature a showdown with the Terre Haute REX, a rematch of last season’s Eastern Conference Championship. Fans can enjoy $2 draft beers for Thirsty Thursday, along with a fireworks display after the game to celebrate the start of the season.

This year’s schedule includes 56 regular-season games and four exhibitions, with an even split of 30 home and 30 road games. The Paints will compete against 11 of the league’s 17 teams, renewing rivalries with Northeast Division foes Lafayette Aviators, Champion City Kings, and Johnstown Mill Rats. For the first time in years, Chillicothe will also face the O’Fallon Hoots and Cape Catfish, along with other opponents like the Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp, Normal CornBelters, and Dubois County Bombers.
The Prospect League, now featuring 18 teams across seven states, has restructured its divisions for the 2025 season. The Paints are part of the Northeast Division in the Eastern Conference, where they will play the majority of their games against division rivals Lafayette, Champion City, and Johnstown.
