CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio – A high-speed chase through Pickaway County ended Wednesday with the arrest of a man wanted on a warrant from Franklin County. The pursuit, which began around 2 p.m., was prompted by reports of an erratic driver on Route 23.
Pickaway County deputies located a silver Chrysler minivan. As law enforcement approached, the driver took off.
The chase, officials said, reached speeds over 100 mph on Route 22. Officers from the South Bloomfield Police Department and troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol utilized spike strips, puncturing some of the vehicle’s tires. The minivan came to a stop near Walker Road.
Deputies arrested the driver, identified as Eddie Dwayne Noble, 42. Noble was charged with driving under the influence and failing to comply with an officer’s signal. During a preliminary hearing, Noble pleaded not guilty.
