JACKSON, Ohio — A commercial truck crash on U.S. Route 50 left one driver with minor injuries on Sunday evening, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred around 6:27 p.m. near milepost 5 in Vinton County. Dustin R. Robinson, 34, of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, was driving a 2022 Mack Pinnacle semi-truck eastbound when he veered off the right side of the highway. The truck struck a guardrail and subsequently overturned, coming to rest on its side in the roadway.
Robinson sustained minor injuries but declined medical treatment at the scene. He was cited for failure to control.
The Jackson Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
