MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio – The Meigs County Sheriff’s Office has identified a body found along a creek on Lovett Road as Edie Roush, authorities said this week.
Sheriff Scott Fitch confirmed the discovery and said deputies and detectives responded to the scene on December 24 after receiving a report about the body. The investigation remains ongoing.
The body was sent to Montgomery County for an autopsy to determine the cause of death, Fitch said in a statement. Further details will be provided as the investigation progresses.
