ROSS COUNTY, Ohio – The Ross County Water Company, Inc. has issued a precautionary boil advisory for customers in the area of County Road 550 near Biers Run. The advisory is in effect until Sunday, January 12, at 2:00 p.m.
This advisory follows an emergency repair prompted by a water main break. As a precaution, residents are advised to boil water for at least three minutes before consuming it or using it for cooking. Residents are also advised to avoid washing laundry in those areas under the advisory.
Additional areas affected: County Road 550, Musselman Station Road, Overlake Drive, Shepherd Road, Hill Farm Road, Simmons Road, Ackley Road, Sulphur Lick Road, Smalley Lane, Shiloh Road, Steiner Road, Maple Grove Road, Mount Carmel Road, Jamison Road, Gullette Drive, Biers Run Road, and Blazer Road.
