CHILLICOTHE, Ohio – The City of Chillicothe Administration Building remains closed on Friday, January 10, due to ongoing HVAC issues. As a result, all on-site meetings at the building have been postponed until further notice.
Essential city operations, such as emergency services and refuse and recycling collection, continue to operate as normal. However, several key departments remain impacted by the closure, including the Auditor’s Office, Income Tax, Human Resources, Nuisance, Parks & Recreation, Utility Billing, the Mayor’s Office, Safety/Service, Planning, Engineering, and Building.
Contractors are actively working to resolve the HVAC problems as quickly as possible. Updates on the status of the repairs and the building’s reopening will be provided as soon as new information becomes available.
Residents are encouraged to use the city’s online resources at ChillicotheOH.gov for department contact information and to follow the city’s Facebook page for updates.
