CHICAGO, Illinois — The Quaker Oats Company has announced a recall of a limited number of two-pound boxes of Pearl Milling Company Original Pancake & Waffle Mix, following a report from a retail partner that the product may contain undeclared milk. The recall affects consumers with milk allergies or severe sensitivities, who could face serious or life-threatening reactions if the product is consumed.
The affected product, distributed to retailers in 11 states including Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, and others, was available for purchase starting November 18, 2024. However, no allergic reactions have been reported as of the announcement date.
