ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — An incident involving a Paint Valley bus driver and a parent has sparked an investigation in Ross County. On the afternoon of March 8, 2025, a local parent alleges that their child’s bus driver aggressively yelled at their daughter and later physically assaulted her during a confrontation at the bus stop. Following the incident, the parent took to social media to share their experience, expressing concerns that the situation might be overlooked without public attention. The parent further shared pictures online showing bruising that they alleged occurred during the incident.

According to the parent’s account, she approached the bus to discuss the driver’s alleged behavior towards her 11-year-old daughter. The conversation escalated when the driver reportedly refused to discuss the matter further, opting instead to close the bus doors on the parent.
The parent described the incident as intentional, stating that the driver “proceeded to intentionally shut the bus doors on my body, literally folding my body up in the doors.” She claims she suffered severe bruising and swelling.
This incident has been reported to the local sheriff’s office and the school.
Efforts to reach the school superintendent for comment were unsuccessful. This story remains under investigation.
