Rita “Sue” Salyers of Chillicothe, OH, passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 85, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, James “Jim” Salyers, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Known affectionately as “Grammy Sue,” she was cherished for her joyful spirit, love, and faith. She enjoyed playing piano hymns at church, celebrating every day, and hosting memorable family gatherings. Her legacy continues through the lives she touched with her kindness. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 29, 2025, at United Freewill Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church. Special thanks are extended to her medical specialists and caregivers.
