CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — STP Motorsports, a professional Sprint Car team based in Collierville, Tennessee, says it has not been paid the advertised $15,000 purse after driver Bryce Lucius won at Atomic Speedway on Oct. 25, 2025.
In a public Facebook post, the team said two checks issued by the track and promoter were returned for insufficient funds and that a promised wire transfer has not been received. The race was reportedly the most‑viewed event of the week on FloRacing, according to the team. FloRacing is a streaming service dedicated to auto racing enthusiasts.
STP Motorsports said the lack of payment has forced the small regional operation to cover expenses out of pocket, creating strain on obligations to vendors. The team, according to its social media, said it is now pursuing both criminal and civil remedies after what it described as “repeated broken promises.”
