PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio — State investigators were called in on Tuesday to a Pickaway County mobile home park on reports of a shooting.
The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is handling the case at the request of the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office, which asked the agency to step in following the incident on Tuesday afternoon.
Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to the scene, including the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office and police departments from Ashville and South Bloomfield. The incident occurred at a mobile home park in the 4800 block of Duvall Road, just south of the Rickenbacker area.
Authorities confirmed that no officers were injured. Beyond that, officials have released little information.
As of Wednesday morning, neither the sheriff’s office nor state investigators had identified anyone involved or provided a timeline for when additional details might be made public.
The investigation remains ongoing.
