CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Sheetz will officially open its first-ever Chillicothe location on Tuesday, Feb. 17, marking the company’s entry into Ohio’s First Capital.

The store is located at 1525 N. Bridge St. and will open to the public at 8 a.m., according to information provided by the company. A grand opening celebration is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. outside the store and is expected to draw hundreds of residents, along with representatives from local nonprofits and elected officials.

During the event, Sheetz will offer giveaways to attendees, including $250 in Sheetz gift cards and a “Free Sheetz for a Year” prize. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 10:45 a.m.

To welcome customers, the company said it will offer free self-serve coffee and soda throughout the entire grand opening day.

As part of its community outreach, Sheetz will present a $2,500 donation to the Good Samaritan Food Pantry of Ross County during the celebration. Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for donation. Those who donate will receive Sheetz-branded merchandise while supplies last between 9 and 11 a.m., limited to one item per customer.

Sheetz will also present a $2,500 check to the Special Olympics of Ohio. The company has supported the organization for more than 30 years through volunteer efforts and donations, according to the company.

The new Chillicothe location is expected to employ approximately 30 people. Sheetz operates more than 800 locations across Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Michigan, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, and Maryland, with all stores open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Company officials said the Chillicothe store will feature made-to-order food, drive-thru service, indoor and outdoor seating, expanded grocery options, free Wi-Fi and air, and touch-free restrooms, offering what the company describes as a restaurant-quality dining experience combined with convenience retail.

No purchase is required to enter the giveaway drawings, and participants must be at least 18 years old and present to win, the company said.
