PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — The Pike County Solid Waste Management District will host a countywide appliance and electronics clean-up event from March 16 through March 27, 2026, offering residents an opportunity to dispose of unwanted household electronics and appliances.

Officials said residents must call the Pike County Solid Waste & Recycling Office at 740-947-4104 to schedule a pickup date for appliances and electronics. The district noted that televisions will be accepted this year; however, a fee will apply based on the size.

According to the announcement, the cost will be $6 for televisions up to 32 inches, $8 for 34- and 36-inch televisions, and $12 for any television larger than 36 inches. Officials emphasized that televisions will not be picked up without payment.

Appointments for the collection event will not be accepted after 3 p.m. on March 24, 2026. Organizers say the event is intended to help residents safely dispose of electronics and large appliances while reducing improper dumping across the county.
