ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — The U.S. 23 Major Crimes Task Force executed three drug-related search warrants in Ross County over the past week as part of ongoing efforts targeting narcotics trafficking and illegal firearms, authorities said.

During the searches, investigators seized 12 firearms, about 180 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 28 grams of fentanyl, and $5,500 in cash. Officials estimated the street value of the confiscated drugs at roughly $20,000.

Three individuals with active warrants were taken into custody and lodged in the Ross County Jail, according to the task force. Authorities did not immediately release the names of those arrested or specify potential charges.

In a statement, representatives of the task force said the investigations reflect a continued commitment to removing dangerous drugs and illegal weapons from local communities through coordinated enforcement efforts.

The U.S. 23 Major Crimes Task Force is a multi-agency partnership operating in Ross, Highland, Hocking, Fayette, and Gallia counties. The group includes local, state, and federal agencies working together to address violent crime and narcotics activity in southern Ohio.
