LOGAN, Ohio — The 11th annual Hocking Hills Comfort Food Cruise will return to the region March 7-8 and March 14-15, offering visitors a chance to sample dishes from a dozen area restaurants while exploring the natural scenery of the Hocking Hills.

Travelers can purchase a $20 ticket booklet that includes 12 tickets. Each ticket is valid for one comfort food sample at any of the participating restaurants. According to event information, $5 from every Comfort Food Cruise pass purchase will benefit local food banks. Visitors may also make additional donations at the Welcome Center.

The event spans two weekends, and ticket holders may use all 12 tickets in one weekend or split them between both weekends. Multiple booklets may be purchased, and tickets can be shared, though one ticket is required per sample. Reservations are not required. Tickets are available online, by mail, or in person through ExploreHockingHills.com.

Organizers note that March is considered an ideal time to visit the Hocking Hills, as spring rains fuel waterfalls and more than 300 wildflower species begin blooming across the region’s 10,000 acres of forest and wooded trails.

Participating restaurants for 2026 include Hocking Hills Bakery, Urban Grill, Sunset Slush of Hocking Hills, Home Tavern, Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls – Kindred Spirits, M and M Family Diner, Mam’s Rusted Skillet, Chef Moe’s on Main, The Max Bar and Grill, Amy’s Simple Sandwiches, Oasis – The Outpos,t and Treehouse Treats & Treasures.

Visitors during the event can also hike to area destinations, including Whispering Cave, Cedar Falls, and Conkle’s Hollow. Organizers recommend wearing layered clothing and footwear with good traction or crampons, noting that rain and snowmelt can make trails slippery.
