ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — The Ross County Humane Society is bringing back its popular “Egg My House” fundraiser for Easter 2026, offering families a festive surprise while raising money to support the shelter.

Through the program, staff and volunteers will fill plastic eggs with candy, small toys, and even the chance of a little cash, then secretly deliver and hide them in participants’ yards the night before Easter. Children wake up to a yard full of eggs, while parents get the credit.

The fundraiser is open to addresses in Ross, Jackson, and Pickaway counties. All proceeds benefit the Ross County Humane Society.

Registration must be completed online using the official sign-up form. Organizers said this is the only way to register, though participants who wish to pay in person may do so at the shelter.

The deadline to register and submit payment is March 29, 2026. Egg deliveries will take placeon April 4, 2026.

The Humane Society is also accepting candy donations during the last week of March, which can be dropped off at the shelter. Volunteers are needed to help with egg deliveries.

Organizers encourage families to sign up early to help make the fundraiser a success.
