VINTON COUNTY, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle crash that left two people injured Tuesday morning in Vinton County.
Troopers from the Jackson Post responded to the crash around 8 a.m. on State Route 93 near milepost two in Clinton Township.
According to investigators, Deborah Holsinger, 59, of McArthur, was driving a 2014 Kia Soul southbound on State Route 93 when a 2014 Ford Fusion pulled from a private drive and attempted to turn northbound onto the highway. Authorities said the Ford, driven by a juvenile from Hamden, failed to yield and was struck by Holsinger’s vehicle.
Holsinger was transported by Vinton County Emergency Medical Services to Holzer Hospital in Jackson with what were described as incapacitating injuries.
A juvenile passenger in Holsinger’s vehicle was treated at the scene and released to her parents.
The juvenile driver of the Ford Fusion was also taken by Vinton County EMS to Holzer Hospital for possible injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
