LONDON, Ohio — Multiple fire departments responded Wednesday afternoon to a working barn fire at a farm in Madison County.
The call reporting the fire came in around noon at the property located at 3180 Davis Road SW, according to dispatch information.
Officials said a large barn was engulfed in flames. It was not immediately known whether anyone was inside the structure at the time of the fire or whether animals were present.
Multiple fire crews were dispatched to the scene to battle the blaze. Authorities have not yet reported whether there were any injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
