WILMINGTON, Ohio – Severe weather will impact the region over the next two days, with strong to severe storms threatening Tuesday night and continuing into Wednesday.
Tonight, hail is the primary threat, though isolated wind damage is also possible as storms move through the area. Residents should secure loose outdoor items and stay weather-aware heading into the evening hours.
The severe weather threat continues into Wednesday, when damaging winds become the main concern. Isolated hail and the possibility of a tornado cannot be ruled out. Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph are expected even outside of thunderstorm activity, and heavy rainfall from the storms may lead to high water in spots.
