CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Two individuals are facing multiple charges following a disturbance call that led to a drug seizure in Circleville, according to the Circleville Police Department.
Officers were dispatched on March 19, 2026, to a residence near Pearl Avenue and South Pickaway Street for a reported disturbance. When police arrived, one suspect fled the scene on foot but was quickly apprehended, police said.
According to the Circleville Police Department, officers discovered suspected narcotics on the individual, which prompted investigators to obtain a search warrant for the residence.
During the subsequent search, officers seized approximately 114.82 grams of suspected narcotics along with 31 individually wrapped foil packets believed to contain drugs.
The suspect taken into custody is facing several felony and misdemeanor charges, including aggravated trafficking in drugs (F1), aggravated possession of a controlled substance (F2), vandalism (F5), endangering children (M1), and obstructing official business (M2), police said.
A second individual, identified as a resident of the home, has been charged with complicity (F1) and possession of a controlled substance (F5), according to authorities.
In a statement posted to social media, the department said:
“Circleville Police officers responded to a disturbance on March 19, 2026, at a residence near Pearl Avenue and South Pickaway Street. A suspect fled on foot but was taken into custody. Officers found suspected narcotics on the suspect, leading to a search warrant for the residence.
The search resulted in the seizure of approximately 114.82 grams of suspected narcotics and 31 individually wrapped foils containing suspected narcotics.
The suspect was charged with Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs (F1), Aggravated Possession of a Controlled Substance (F2), Vandalism (F5), Endangering Children (M1), and Obstructing Official Business (M2). The resident of the home was charged with Complicity (F1) and Possession of a Controlled Substance (F5).”
Police say additional charges could be filed pending laboratory analysis of the suspected substances and further review by the Pickaway County Prosecutor’s Office.
The investigation remains ongoing.
