ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — Motorists in Ross County should plan ahead for a temporary road closure next month as the Bainbridge Fire Department conducts a scheduled training exercise.
Tong Hollow Road will be closed between addresses 3293 and 3414 on Thursday, May 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Alternative access routes will be available during the closure. Residents at addresses below 3293 may access the area via SR 41 and Tong Hollow Road. Those at addresses above 3414 should use US 50 and California Hollow Road.
Fire Chief Branson P. Leisure is reminding residents that this is a controlled training exercise and there is no cause for alarm. Motorists and neighbors in the area may notice an increased presence of emergency vehicles, flashing lights, and personnel in the vicinity of the training location on the date of and in the days leading up to the exercise.
