BUCHTEL, Ohio — The Nelsonville Water Department in Athens County has issued a boil order for residents and businesses on Wilson Avenue and Fork Street in the Village of Buchtel, including Buchtel Food Mart, officials announced.
The order was triggered by a new water line connection. It will remain in effect until 3 p.m. Thursday, May 14.
Anyone affected is asked to boil all cooking and drinking water for three minutes before consuming it.
