CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Pickaway County commissioners will open bids for a bridge deck sealing project and hold the first organizational meeting of a new county land reutilization corporation during their regular session Tuesday, according to the board’s published agenda.
The board’s meeting begins at 9 a.m. at the county administration building, with general business items first on the agenda.
At 10:15 a.m., Pickaway County Sheriff Robert Hafey is scheduled to give commissioners an update, according to the agenda. The county engineer’s office will open bids at 10:30 a.m. for a bridge deck sealing project.
Chris Widener of the WDC Group is set to brief commissioners at 11 a.m. on the status of several ongoing county facilities projects, including window replacement at Memorial Hall, the second phase of fairgrounds improvements, and window and door work at the county jail, the agenda said.
Commissioners will close the day at 1:30 p.m. with the organizational meeting of the Pickaway County Land Reutilization Corporation, county land bank that allows the county to acquire, manage and redevelop vacant, abandoned or tax-delinquent properties.
